Garrett Burchett, left, and brother Ryan have launched Iowa's newest liquor distillery in a bid to win the hearts and palettes of Iowans looking for good, locally grown liquor. Mississippi River Distilling Co., based in Le Claire, Ia., hopes to sell roughly 5,000 cases per year of vodka, gin and bourbon made solely out grain grown within 25 miles of their plant.
